God created us to live in community

Monday Adult Connect Group

The Monday night connect group is a great example of how going deeper into scripture is so rewarding. Our mission statement is planting God’s word firmly in our hearts and minds so it becomes easier for us to apply it into our lives. The Bible contains life-changing potential. This potential is activated when you plant God’s word in your heart. In John 6:63 Jesus declared ” It is the Spirit who gives life, The flesh profits nothing. The words I speak to you are Spirit, and they are life”

On Monday nights we study directly from the Bible and currently, we are studying Matthew and will continue on through all 4 gospels with Mark, Luke, and John coming next. We have a great group that interacts in this study through reading, discussing, and breaking down verses so we all understand the lessons taught thru the Bible. You can join in our conversations or just sit back and glean from all the incredible insight into life and living out God’s will. All Men and Women are invited to join us. We always meet on Zoom with a few of us meeting in person.

At Celebrate Recovery-Better Together we are believers, for both men and women, who know the healing power of Jesus Christ. We are committed to serve the Lord and show God’s freedom which comes from working through this 12-step program that is based upon the Beatitudes in Matthew 5:3-12. Celebrate Recovery is not just for people who are addicts but we welcome anyone who has experienced or is experiencing hurts, hang-ups, or habits in their lives.

A hurt which can be a scar or a negative impact left from events in our lives

Hang-ups can be any negative ideas, thought, or conceptions of ourselves or of others

And a bad habit can be anything that comes between you and your walk with God.

So come join us for Celebrate Recovery on zoom or at The City Church in The Outback, every Tuesday evening beginning at 5:30 for fellowship, and the meeting begins promptly at 6 pm. We do life together, because we are Better Together!

Pajamas & Jesus is a Ladies Connect Group that is held exclusively on Zoom, Wednesday’s at 8:30 PM. Zoom is a free online platform that allows attendees to interact live with one another, from the comfort of their own homes via a computer or smart device. Our group is comprised of ladies (in our comfy pajamas) from all ages, stages, and walks of life. The PJ& J leaders: Amy Vinyard, Cathy Loran,  Pastor Erin Martin and Sarah Hinze take turns each week leading the group with a Bible based message. We then open the platform up for a time of sharing. This portion of the night is when we really grow; learning from one another and deepening our love for Christ and sisterhood! Your level of interaction is always up to you. The meetings run 30-45 minutes and are a perfect way to wind down a day and receive a midweek Jesus rejuvenation. If you’re looking for a group to help you deepen your walk with Christ, and a safe space to share the mountains and valleys of life, then Pajamas & Jesus is the perfect place for you.
