ABOUT PASTOR RYAN
Pastor Ryan Macdonald communicates over and over of his foremost desire to be a disciplined follower and student of Jesus Christ. His passion is to continually be conformed into the image and likeness of Christ. He is selfless and authentic, a visionary and entrepreneur, who serves as the Lead Pastor of The City Church & St. Anthony’s, a multi-campus church based in Batavia, NY.
Pastor Ryan is an enthusiastic communicator, who has a unique ability to understand and contextualize God’s word. He is a voice of influence and inspiration in the lives of many and has a passion to reach as well as empower the next generation. He is committed to serving not only our church body but the surrounding community.
He began his ministry of service to our Lord Jesus by setting up chairs for church services in the side lawn of his childhood home, and with over 20 years of ministry thereafter, Pastor Ryan embraces this position as lead pastor with a heart of discipleship, humility, and joy.
Pastor Ryan met his wife Pastor Samantha at The City Church campus and have been married for 21 years. They are parents to two incredible young men who faithfully serve alongside them in the Lord’s house.
