Dear City Church Family,
Fall is here, and I always enjoy this time of year—the cooler weather, the changing leaves, and settling back into a routine.
The change of seasons reminds me how much life changes. Our families, our work, and our plans can look different from one year to the next. Some changes are good, and some are hard. But through it all, Jesus stays the same. We can count on His love and faithfulness, whatever we’re facing.
This week, we’re in week two of our Faith Over Fear series. We all have things that worry us, and choosing faith doesn’t mean pretending those things aren’t real. It means remembering where our help comes from. Our help comes from the Lord, and we don’t have to face what’s ahead on our own.
I’m thankful that our church is healthy. We’re not perfect, but we have people who love God, care about each other, and are willing to serve. Thank you for the everyday ways you make City Church a place where people feel welcome and cared for.
If you haven’t found a small group yet, I encourage you to take that step. It’s a chance to get to know people, ask questions, pray together, and have someone to call when life gets difficult. We all need those relationships.
I also want to encourage you to personally invite someone to church this week. Think of a friend, neighbor, or coworker you could ask to come with you. A simple “Come sit with me this Sunday” can mean more than you realize.

As we move through this season, let’s keep praying for one another and staying close to Jesus. I’m grateful we get to do this together.
Love you, church.
